Sometimes it's hard to stay motivated. As a stay at home mum with both kids at school all day, I don't really have much of a routine and find it very easy to waste days just pottering around and not actually achieving very much. There are plenty of things that I know I could (or should) be doing, but it's all too easy to put it off "til tomorrow". This happens with sewing too, there are so many projects that I have said "ooh, yes, I'll make one of those!" and it never happens. Or sometimes, I just don't know what to do. Yesterday I was feeling a bit like that, I wanted to sew something but just didn't know what. Instead of not doing anything though, I picked up these Bliss hexagons that I had sewn together last year.
I think I had said that I was going to make a bath mat with them but, instead, I just made a regular mini quilt with them, which is the perfect size to go under my sewing machine.
