Just taking the opportunity to drop in and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful new year. I know I've been rather absent from this little space of late, and have to admit that my blogging mojo has been at an alltime low recently, but I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to stop by and say hello. I think I had a bit of a home-ed "wobble" this last week (wondering again whether we are doing enough etc) but, apparently, that's very common at this time of year, so we have been winding down for the holidays and taking things even more easy than they were already. Although, over the last few days we've had a little developement in that J has been getting himself washed and dressed and then doing his handwriting practice without any nagging from me. He has an ulterior motive of course, wanting to get time playing on my tablet, but it's working for us...! I've already mentioned to him that, come the new year, I will be asking him to do a bit more work in order to get the reward, but it's all heading in the right direction. In the meantime though, we have been enjoying the Christmas preparations (although I completely underestimated how much having him around all the time would affect things - must be better prepared next year!) Yesterday, we made some chocolate "bark" together, which was great fun, and today we are hoping to make some more mince pies.
I don't suppose I will be back here again before the new year, so have a good one, everyone, and thanks for reading.
