One table runner completed, my second make of the year. Although, I have to say, I rather like it as a wall hanging too, it's currently hanging over the archway between our living and dining rooms and looking very pretty. I'm thinking of gifting it to someone, although I'm very tempted to keep it!
Made using my favourite, free-form piecing, and quilted with straight(ish), slightly randomly spaced lines :-)
My mojo still hasn't fully returned (although I have a little something planned to try and kick start that) so I'm not sure what to work on next - I do still have the summer roses quilt to finish hand quilting, but I might skip that and go on to something completely different.
Life is slowly trying to get back to normal here. Rufus had his second scan last week and his stomach is showing "significant improvement", and his bloods are all looking good now too, so that was a huge relief. He has to carry on with the special food, but he loves it so that's no hardship! However, after reviewing the video footage of Ru having a seizure, our vet wasn't so sure that it was epilepsy at all and, after consulting with a specialist friend of his, told us that he thinks it is something called paroxysmal dyskinesia (try saying that 3 times, quickly!) The good news is that it's not life threatening, but some further investigation may still be in order. He hasn't had a seizure now in almost a month, which is brilliant, and we are starting to get him used to be left on his own again - he's had us with him 24/7 since he got sick, so taking it slowly, but he is coping well so far. Hopefully, J and I will be able to start going out and about again very soon! I have to say, J hasn't minded the enforced hibernation one little bit but, even though I am very much a home body, I am very keen to start getting out more!
